Jeff Jarrett then beat QT Marshall, while Lio Rush, Action Andretti, Lance Archer and Brian Cage defeated Truth Magnum, Turbo Floyd, Darius Martin and Dante Martin. The main billboard opened with Will Ospreay defeating her friend becoming a rival Kyle Fletcher in the semifinals of the C2, which ended in just over sixteen minutes, ensuring Ospreay a place in the finals of the championship.

WWE brought back his ple bad Blood on October 5 in Atlanta. The opening of Hell in a Cell of 31 minutes saw CM Punk defeat Drew McIntyre to gain his rivalry. Fans and analysts greatly praised punk and McIntyre for their performance, and Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer granted the fight five complete stars.

Australian air murderer and arrow also received praise for their performances at AEW Worlds End. Talking about fighting Wrestling Observer RadioMeltzer said that the fight was better than Punk against McIntyre and described it as possibly the best opening of a payment event in the story:

“Will Ospreay against Kyle Fletcher could have been the best opening combat in a payment event in history. It is definitely at the top … I am trying to remember some better fight. I could have won the fight of the year in many, many years, and it was not even the best fight of the billboard.”

Meltzer continued:

“Punk against McIntyre has the advantage, in a sense, because it was the climax of a great rivalry and it was a very well done Cell in a Cell, but as for the fight itself, Ospreay against Fletcher was much better.”

Meltzer has not revealed his qualification for Ospreay against Fletcher until the moment of this writing. However, he mentioned that Ospreay's performance at AEW Worlds End was one of the best one -day performances in the history of wrestling.
