The WWE legend, The Rock, was not happy that a superstar was crushed in triple H in a Raw episode. The former WWE superstar, Maven, revealed in a new video that The Great One called him apart and expressed his discontent for having been crushed.
Maven worked for WWE in the early 2000s. He was mostly limited to the Mid-Card in RAW. On the way to Wrestlemania XIX in 2003, Maven faced Triple H in a Raw episode and was crushed in a matter of minutes.
In a new video on his YouTube channel, Maven Huffman revealed that The Rock spoke to him after the fight and told him that he was not happy that The Game crushed him.
“After this fight, The Rock really called me separately and expressed his discontent, telling me that I didn't appreciate the way they treated me. The fact that I was crushed. And he said: 'You know, the business has to be done otherwise,' he did not appreciate, he did not like the way Hunter basically used me.” (12: 03-12: 30)
The Rock then gave a guarantee to Maven
The Brahma Bull then told Maven that they would do something together when he returned to the WWE. Unfortunately, nothing left that. Dwayne Johnson beat Stone Cold in Wrestlemania XIX, lost against Goldberg in Backlash 2003 and took a brief pause of the WWE.
He finally returned on the road to Wrestlemania XX and began a rivalry with Evolution. He team up with Mick Foley at a disadvantage of three against two against Evolution in 'Mania, which the duo lost. Then he would leave again and return to WWE seven long years later.
