

Vince Russo was WWE's main writer in the late 1990s, when RAW reached the highest television grades in the history of the USA Network program. Before the transfer from RAW to Netflix, the former WCW heavyweight world champion is not sure if the agreement will improve the WWE product.
On October 4, 2019, the SmackDown premiere episode on Fox averaged 3,869 million viewers. This week, WWE Content Director, Triple H, and several fighters appeared at the company's headquarters to promote RAW's first episode in Netflix on January 6, 2025.
Presenter Dr. Chris Featherstone asked in the program Writing With Russo How WWE can maintain enthusiasm around Raw to Netflix. Russo minimized WWE agreement with the streaming giant and compared it to the transfer of SmackDown to Fox:
“Chris, they don't. Friends, again, people have very little memory. They return to the premiere of (SmackDown) in Fox. They did exactly the same, and that first week was a huge number, a huge number the first week. I think that after a month they had half of that figure, and from then on it was just another wrestling program. That is what happens, Chris. That is exactly what is exactly what is going to happen. Predict of Vince Russo about RAW in Netflix
The first episode of Smackdown in Fox began with an appearance of The Rock and ended with the victory of Brock Lesnar in seven seconds over Kofi Kingston to win the WWE championship.
WWE has already announced the arrival of Logan Paul at RAW before the debut of the Program in Netflix. In the long term, however, Vince Russo does not believe that the inclusion of big names makes a difference:
“They will give you the treatment of Fox. 'Everyone comes here, this comes here, here comes that, and in less than a month it will be just another fight program in another channel.” (2:16 – 2:31)
Cm punk vs. Seth Rollins will take place in the first episode of RAW in Netflix. The two fighters have not faced one since Punk defeated their long -term rival in the episode of December 30, 2013 by RAW.
