The WWE is on their way to Wrestlemania 41, and there are multiple possible opponents for one of the company's biggest stars, Cody Rhodes. While Randy Orton and Kevin Owens are two of the names discussed to face The American Nightmare in the company's big event, the wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell believes that even The Rock could return at some point before the event to prepare a fight against Cody.
The Final Boss was involved in an intense rivalry with Cody Rhodes this year during the Wrestlemania season. The WWE champion eight times even promised Cody that he would look for him on his return. However, recent reports have indicated that The Brahma Bull could miss WrestleMania 41, with Randy Orton or Kevin Owens, the possible opponents for the WWE undisputed champion seem.
Speaking in Smack Talk From Sportskeeda Wrestling, Dutch Mantell said The Rock could appear only a few weeks before Wrestlemania and still fit into a program with Cody Rhodes.
“They can include it six weeks before Wrestlemania and still work. While they can include someone like The Rock two months in advance, they have it. They can do all their advertising.” (From 34:08 onwards)
The WWE undisputed champion is currently out of action after being attacked by Kevin Owens after his fight at Saturday Night's Main Event. The rivalry between the two seems to be far from finishing, and many believe that it could extend to Wrestlemania 41.
