WWE's superstar, Kevin Owens, will be in action at the Saturday Night's Main Event event against Cody Rhodes. In preparation for the NBC special, The Prizefighter expressed his desire to face a former rival with whom he has never had a fight in Wrestlemania.
In Snme, Ko will face Cody Rhodes for WWE's undisputed championship. This will be the second time this year that both collide in a fight for the world title. It was The American Nightmare who was victorious about Owens in Bash in Berlin on August 31. In a recent interview with Mail SportKevin Owens revealed his ambition to face former universal champion Finn Balor in Wrestlemania.
The 40 -year -old fighter emphasized the deep link that both formed while they were in the development brand together and considers The Prince as one of his best friends and a brother.
“I have always said that I would love to have a fight in Wrestlemania with Finn Balor because we became very close quickly when we arrived in WWE at the same time. It has been one of my best friends and really as a brother for me. That is something that I would like to share with him,” he said.
Balor and Ko had an intense rivalry in 2015, facing multiple times by the NXT championship. Their fighting were known for their intensity and showed a very interesting styles contrast. However, they have never fought together in The Showcase of the Immortals.
Kevin Owens also wants to face a WWE legend in an individual fight
The Prizefighter and the member of the Rey Mysterio Hall Hall have shared the ring several times. But Kevin Owens and The Master of the 619 have never faced each other in an individual fight.
During the same interaction in Mail Sportthe former universal WWE champion declared that he wants to fight one by one with Rey Mysterio since they have never had an individual fight together.
“I have less and less answers for those questions because I have already achieved a lot and I have done many things that I did not think I would do. I have not had an individual fight with Rey Mysterio,” Kevin Owens said.
It will be exciting to see if the Canadian star can dethrone Cody Rhodes and claim WWE's undisputed championship at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.
