Drew McIntyre about his absence in wwe
Before his return on December 2, McIntyre had been absent from WWE programming from WWE Bad Blood. Subsequently, he commented on taking time during an interview in KWCH 12 Morning News.
“I was out the last two months,” said McIntyre. “My last fight was a Hell in A Cell, a very brutal fight. I received a blow to the head in a moment, I needed 16 staples to close a wound at the top of my head. I also suffered a family loss. I had to return to Scotland, deal with that and reevaluate my priorities.
“I realized that I had probably given my profession too much, and not enough to my family. I realized that I have been giving too much during the last 17 years, and it is time to start taking a little more. Tonight I go with the mentality of taking what is mine, hitting the people who deserve to be beaten. Yes, this will be an interesting phase for Drew Mcintyre.”
