Teddy Long praised WWE for how the company has managed a story that will culminate in the Saturday Night's Main Event event, which will be broadcast on December 14. The veteran said that an important reign with the title could end in Long Island.

In The Wrestling Time MachineHost Mac Davis asked the wrestling legends Bill Apter and Teddy Long about a variety of themes, one of which was the main event of Saturday Night's Main Event. The iconic show is expected to be headed by the fight for WWE's undisputed championship between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. This has been one of the main rivalries and has been built for months.

The former general manager of SmackDown, Teddy Long, said Kevin Owens could surprise and dethrone Cody Rhodes to become the new indisputable WWE champion. He praised the story of the story and assured that a change of title would be a great impulse for the future of Saturday Night's Main Event.

“Yes, I think so, and the reason is that (WWE) built it; they took their time, they started well and did not hurry. Now they took him to Saturday Night's Main Event. That Kevin (Owens) took the title would be huge for Snme!” said. (2: 54-3: 17)

Teddy Long gave an interesting response about the defeat of the Jey Use Intercontinental Championship

It was surprising to see that Jey's first individual reign used as a champion ended in less than 30 days in October 2024. That said, it was used as an element to intensify the civil war of The Bloodline that broke out in Crown Jewel and Survivor Series: Wargames.

In an anterior episode of The Wrestling Time MachineTeddy Long explained why he does not believe that Jey's defeat use by the intercontinental title has been a mistake.

“I thought the fight was great, and the way they took the title was credible. Because you take a guy, you do three or four things outside, do you know what I mean? Basically you have it exhausted and beaten. So the way they made that, use was finished; just could not more. said. (3:52 onwards)

Recently, Jey use was attacked by Drew McIntyre in RAW, and it will be interesting to see what awaits the “Yeet” teacher while the new year approaches.
