The Knight has held the United States championship from WWE Summerslam. A former WWE writer recently suggested that a champion on multiple occasions could end the reign of the megaestrella.
Since he defeated Logan Paul to capture the United States championship in August, Knight has defended the title against several superstars, including Santos Escobar and Andrade. Last Friday, he put his championship at stake against Berto on Smackdown. Although he defeated the ghost legacy member, the 42 -year -old fighter was surprisingly attacked by Shinsuke Nakamura, who returned.
In his podcast Wrestling with Freddiethe former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. approached the attack of The King of Strong Style to The Megastar. He expressed his desire to see Nakamura dethrone Knight:

The WWE Hall of Fame believes that Shinsuke Nakamura's return could help the Knight
In his podcast Hall of FameBooker T, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, spoke about the current Knight race and said the mega -stress “has turned off.” However, he pointed out that Shinsuke Nakamura's return could turn on Knight's flame again.
The current NXT commentator said that Nakamura would be the right person to work with the United States champion, describing him as “silent murderer”:
“I also like that confrontation. The Knight needs something that fuels its flame again. It seems that it has turned off a little. It seems that this star has turned off a little. So I think Shinsuke Nakamura will definitely be the right person. I love Shinsuke. I love everything about him. It's that silent murderer, that murderer, that ninja. So yes, I like that,” said Booker T.
The last time Nakamura won the United States Championship was in 2019. It would be interesting to see if you can recover the title after five years.
