“We believe that all corruption is delznable.” Thus justified on Tuesday the spokesman of the PP, Miguel Tellado, the Round of contacts to the parliamentary allies of Pedro Sánchez who ordered him to make his boss of ranks, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, “to say if their support to the PSOE remains intact.” The Government members, critics for the entry into prison of Santos Cerdán, answered before the calls and do not seem to take the leader of the PP seriously: “responds to a marketing strategy.”
The first calls occurred late in the afternoon, according to Eldiario.es among the parliamentary groups. And that Feijóo announced them at eight in the morning on a message on Twitter. Not expressly mentioning it, the tweet referred to a hypothetical motion of censure to throw Sánchez: “Right now they are the only obstacle for Spaniards to speak and we can repair so much decline.”
Feijóo only needs four votes, in addition to those of Vox (discounted) To overthrow Sánchez. And the headlines quickly filled with references to the motion of censure. The party sent a brief statement to deny the evidence. “The PP will not call parliamentary groups to ask but to listen,” said the text. “Tellado will be put in communication today with the parliamentary groups, except Bildu, after entrusting it to Feijóo,” he concluded.
The PP spokesman summoned a press conference at 12.00 in Congress. Minutes before he sent some messages to his counterparts from the rest of the games to be able to say before the media that the contacts had started. But he didn't have time. The hard negative ones of the alleged interlocutors of Tellado arrived before and without notice. “We can have nothing to talk to the rotten party,” said the general secretary, Ione Belarra. In a statement sent to the media, the Basque Party said: “Tellado has chosen to speak with the media rather than with EAJ-PNV and has done so to launch attacks and accusations at the same time that he said to want to talk to us.
