A popular WWE superstar broke his silence after Shawn Michaels dissolved his faction in the NXT program last night. Andre Chase sent a sincere message to his followers after Chase University officially dissolved in the latest edition of the Tuesday Night Show program.
Chase faced Ridge Holland for the number one contender position to the NXT championship. There was an additional stipulation: if Andre lost, Chase or would dissolve.
Shawn Michaels prepared Holland to become the number one contender to the Trick Williams NXT title. The combat will be carried out in Deadline Ple. It also meant the end of the road to Chase University as a faction, which included Thea Hail, Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne.
“And I suppose that is the moment of teaching. You never needed me. I was who always needed them. Thank you for everything. I wouldn't be here without you,” Chase wrote.
Shawn Michaels comments on his future with NXT in the interest of CM Punk in his position
Shawn Michaels currently works as a senior vice president of WWE talents and creativity. The Showstopper is also in charge of the creative part of NXT and supervises the future of the company.
Meanwhile, CM Punk has spent a lot of time at the Performance Center this year, working with the young talents who grew up seeing it. The Saint of the second city has also previously expressed interest in occupying the HBK position in the developing brand.
Talking with The Ringer Last month, The Heartbreak Kid talked about his future and the possibility that Punk is the NXT chief in the future.
“Either cm punk or any other person who has passion for this, would understand perfectly because it happened to me. This place is contagious. The atmosphere here in NXT and in the performance center here in Orlando is different from any other culture throughout the business,” said Michaels.
At 59, Shawn Michaels is far from the retirement age and CM Punk is still an active WWE superstar. It will be interesting to see if The Best in the World replaces HBK in the future.
