The former WWE presenter Matt Camp recently spoke about a possible side change of a huge Babyface superstar. He said that the 39 -year -old could become a diabolical and drunk champion of power.
Since his return to the company based in Stamford in 2022, Cody Rhodes has established himself as the definitive Babyface. However, several fans and experts have detected Rudo Heel characteristics in the personality of The American Nightmare. The WWE undisputed champion even admitted it in a recent interview.
In his podcast The Wrestling MattCamp revealed that he believes that Rhodes could become the most evil corporate champion of all time. He added that a Roman Reigns as “good”, or Babyface, would be a great complement to The American Nightmare:
“I think Cody could be a diabolical villain, hungry for power, drunk of power, absolutely. As the most corporate evil champion of all time. Cody could perfectly play that role and Roman would be a great complement like Babyface,” he said. (From 29:34 to 30:00)
Matt Camp believes that a WWE star could dethrone Cody Rhodes
In the same episode of his podcast The Wrestling MattMatt Camp addressed the possibility that Cody Rhodes faces Kevin Owens in Survivor Series in a rematch for the WWE undisputed championship.
Raw Talk presenter suggested that The Prizefighter could dethrone The American Nightmare:
“He (Kevin Owens) is a credible fighter in the main event and I think he would be wonders to beat Cody. If we add the idea that Kevin is the champion, he would take the title to Cody, but Kevin would also be higher in the world that Roman only for knowing who has the title.”
Last Friday at Smackdown, Rhodes showed a more aggressive side of his character. It would be interesting to see if he finally becomes Heel.
