The Popular Party has tried to burst the Plenary of Congress. The spokesman of the party, Miguel Tellado, has asked the floor at the beginning of the Plenary to ask, referring to article 68 of the second chapter of the regulations of the Chamber, that the agenda of this Tuesday was changed and thus demand the appearance of Pedro Sánchez. The PP has already tried this morning to force the agenda that the President of the Government declared today in Congress to “account for the corruption plot” that surrounds the PSOE, but the Board of Spokespersons has rejected the proposal of the party of Alberto Núñez Feijóo. Sánchez will appear on July 9, as all the matches on the Board have approved this morning.
“We have just registered a letter,” Tellado began, “the deputies of the popular group, more than a fifth of the members of this Chamber, just a few minutes ago, requesting that the Plenary of the Chamber under article 68.1 pronounced a modification of the agenda of this plenary.” The president of the Congress table, Francina Armengol, recalled that this change had not been approved unanimously by the Board this morning, before ensuring: “This is the only possible way, I continue with the regulation and keeping the rules of operation of this institution.
