Uninterrupted help service from Holy Week to October 31 on the busiest beaches
Last Wednesday Red Cross, which had been providing the lifeguard service in Guardamar for decades, gave the relief to the company that has been made with the new contract, helpful South, a signature based in Malaga, with a cost of 554,000 euros (VAT included) per year. Guardamar will have a lifeguard contract from this season from the beginning of the Holy Week to October 31 in an uninterrupted way.

In the months of June and September, the beaches that have lifeguard in Guardamar are center, roota and the Moncio and a deployment of 17 people. In July and August Center, La Roqueta, vivers. El Moncio and Les Ortigues with a total of 45 lifeguards.
Els Tossals, where death has occurred, is an informally free beach. The bathers who do naturismo – the bathroom of non -textile users – and textiles alternate. It is a beach limited by the Dunar cord of the north of the Pinada de Guardamar, quite isolated and very exposed to the winds of Levante and the waves. No saturation and excellent water conditions.
