There are more unpublished videos of the meeting of the Integrated Operational Coordination Center (Cecopi) on the day of the dana that are not yet in the hands of the investigating judge almost a year after the catastrophe. At least, this is what one of the popular accusations appearing in the case states, which has asked the magistrate to locate and require Marco Presa Pasquinucci, advisor to Salomé Pradas, to “urgently deliver” the videos that he supposedly recorded and that could continue on his mobile phone or any other device owned by him or the Generalitat. The advisor appears recording images of Cecopi at key moments of the meeting. In the absence of an official recording, the investigating judge has requested the few images with sound that captured some fragments, both by public television À Punt and by an external production company hired by Emergencies.
To these images, kept in a drawer for ten months, are added other audiovisual testimonies supposedly recorded by Pradas' advisor, who has not answered elDiario.es' questions. This is an advisor who joined the Pradas team of the Ministry of the Environment in 2023, in the first stage of the Mazón Government. After the departure of Vox from the regional Executive the following year and the move of Salomé Pradas to the Ministry of Justice, with powers in Emergencies, Marco Presa Pasquinucci continued at his side as an advisor on general affairs. The young man was dedicated to digital communication, especially on Instagram.
On October 29, the social network account of the then councilor posted a video with fragments of Salomé Pradas' journey that tragic day (the Cecopi meeting does not appear). In the videos of the external production company hired by Emergencies, already in the hands of the dana judge, the advisor is observed recording at various moments, including shots – like the one illustrated by this information – of the arrival of President Carlos Mazón to the Command and Control Room of the L'Eliana Emergency Center starting at 8:28 p.m., according to the latest version of the head of the Consell.
The popular accusation exercised by Acció Cultural del Pais Valencià (ACPV) has detected that in the Instagram video of the Pradas account there are shots that do not coincide with the videos delivered by the Generalitat: of Jorge Suárez, deputy director general of Emergencies, recorded “from other angles” or of Pradas' conversations with 112 technicians during the visit he made to the Generalitat complex in l'Eliana on noon on October 29.
The document of the popular accusation, to which this newspaper has had access, highlights that in the video posted on the social network the official anagram of the Department of Justice and Interior appears.
“This recording,” he adds, “could have been made by the Envidea operator,” in reference to the external production company, “but also by the then advisor to the councilor, Marco Presa Pasquinucci, given that it appears to have been made vertically,” the writing states. At several moments, the advisor appears recording with a mobile phone with the device in a vertical position.
The popular accusation filed by ACPV asks the judge to expand the requirement for the company and the Emergency Department to provide the videos “without any type of editing of the recording and sound.”
“Urgent” location of the former Pradas advisor
On the other hand, he also proposes to the judge that the department currently headed by Juan Carlos Valderrama (Pradas' successor at the head of Emergencies in the Consell de Mazón) be requested “urgently” to provide information on the location data of the former advisor. In addition, he requests that you contact him “immediately” to request the “urgent delivery” of the videos that he may retain in his possession.
On the other hand, it also requests that the Attorney of the Administration of Justice carry out an “urgent comparison” between the Instagram video published on Pradas' profile and the recordings that were already included in the case.
Marco Presa Pasquinucci, prior to his time in the Pradas team, was a trusted temporary staff member as PP advisor in the Sports area of the Las Rozas City Council, with the popular José de la Uz as mayor.
