Adam Copeland is already thinking about the final touch of his career.

The former world champion gave fans an honest look on his future during a recent appearance in First Up with Korolnek & Colaiacovorevealing that his time in the ring is coming to an end. Although Copeland has not been seen on AEW television since he was attacked by FTR in Aew Dynsty, he has been occupied, recently seen in the Maple Leafs Toronto Games and now making headlines with his latest comments.

“Not much more,” Copeland said when asked how much more plans to fight. “The calendar is much better than before. If you asked me to try more than 200 days a year as before, there is no way, because the recovery now takes too much time.”

The fighter also did not sweeten the impact that wrestling has on him today.

“I will have a fight and take a good week to start walking normal,” he admitted. “I have noticed now, I am 51 years old, I think I have up to 53, the end of this contract, and then it is probably time to say goodbye and leave while I can still limp (laugh). Lick my wounds and do a lot of yoga later.”

Copeland will turn 53 in October 2026, which coincides with the end of its current contract with AEW. For now, there is no news about when he will return to AEW's programming after the attack in Dynasty.
