AEW Dynamite begins with Swerve Strickland and Ricochet arriving at the event, along with Tumess Toni Storm, who returns to Dynamite for the first time since its appearance in Collision a few weeks ago.
Renee Paquette interviews Switchblade Jay White, who talks about her new friendship with Cope. White mentions that it is a relationship that is being built, without a previous history, but with FTR. When Jon Moxley and his group approach, FTr appears and unleashes a fight. Marina Shafir takes Packette from the combat area, which extends to the ring. White and Moxley are alone in the ring, where White executes a Blade Runner to Yuta. PAC tries to intervene but receive a Machine Shatter. The fight continues until Cope tries a Spear to Moxley, but Castagnoli receives it. Cope, FTR and White face the Death Riders, who retire.
Cope takes the microphone to talk about Moxley's challenge for the title in Revolution, but Moxley rejects the idea. White proposes a Brisbane Brawl in Grand Slam, and Moxley accepts.
A video of Buddy Matthews is shown challenging Kazuchika Okada for the continental title, confirming the fight for Grand Slam.
Will Ospreay defeat Mark Davis in a battle that, although brief, was good. Post-Lucha, Don Callis announces that he controls Davis, which leads Ospreay to announce his alliance with Kenny Omega for Grand Slam.
The Hurt Syndicate announces Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley as the new AEW couples champions. Austin and Colten Gunn return and challenge The Hurt Syndicate for next week.
Renee Paquette is behind the stage, outside Mercedes Mone's locker room, when the Mercedes puppet is joined. Cameron slides towards the shot. Mone herself enters from behind and interrupts all this and asks if Cameron is stupid or silly and mockingly congratulates Cameron for her first victory. Mone remembers how he felt when he won all his titles, he is the best TBs champion of all time and Cameron is nothing more than a loser and the puppet starts by the hand telling him to stay away from the train of Mone. Mone leaves and Cameron does everything possible to make him an obscene gesture, despite the best paquette efforts so he does not.
Hangman Adam Page is interviewed by Renee Paquette, but Max Caster interrupts, causing a page reaction.
Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher defeat Hounds of Hell in a great couples fight.
Samoa Joe and Hook attack Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne in retaliation.
MJF makes fun of Jeff Jarrett and is interrupted by Max Casteter and then by Dustin Rhodes. The tension between Rhodes and MJF culminates in a fight, increasing the desire to see them face.
Timeless Toni Storm, imitating Mariah May, defeats Queen Aminata in a comic but entertaining fight.
