Andre Agassi went through the podcast of Andy Roddick, Served, and reviewed his duels against Big Three. The American said how he managed, even partially, to challenge the dominance of Rafa Nadal.

“I wanted to see his reaction”

Agassi recalled a Confrontation with Mallorcan in 2005, in the final of the Canada Masters 1000. In a long and open dots, the former number one did not feel comfortable even when he managed to hit over the ball: “There was no way to overcome him. I threw a perfect volley and still arrived. Then he went out with his classic 'Come on!' And I stayed as … okay, my respects. ”

“I still found its weakness”Andre confessed. “I kicked her bottle of water, I turned it away. I didn't want to do it directly, but I wanted to see how I reacted. Then I saw that he made his routine before he took out, and I noticed how his eyes looked again that his bottle was not perfectly aligned. ”

Agassi managed to win a set in that final of Montreal, but it was Rafa who won. With only 19 years, his domain in the circuit was already beginning to make clear.
