The winner of the US Open final against Jannik Sinner, the Spanish Carlos Alcaraz recovered the first place of the ATP classification, according to the ranking published Monday.
In 2022, coinciding with the first title of Alcaraz in New York and the first Grand Slam of his career, the Spanish tennis player, who was then 19, became the youngest N.1 in history.
Three years later and after 65 weeks of reign of Sinner, Alcaraz unbank the Italian of the Throne of World Tennis and confirms the overwhelming domain of both players in the circuit.
