The Colombian Olympic Committee announced on Tuesday that Alejandra Usquiano and Juan Fernando Ocampo will be the flag bearers of the National Delegation during the Opening ceremony of the World Genngdú 2025 Games, scheduled for next August 7.
“Given the sports results, the COC selected athletes such as flag bearers for the ceremony that will be fulfilled in the capital of the province of Sichuan, after staying at the forefront of their respective sports disciplines with victories in different international statistics,” the committee explained through its official means.

This will be the third time that the World Games are held in Asian territory and the first that are based to China. The Colombian delegation will consist of 43 athletes, who will compete in disciplines such as swimming with fins, archery, skating, Wushu, Sambo and Karate, among others.
