Anneke Borbe has won the Women’s Super League Save of the Month for the first time in her career after her fantastic stop against Manchester United in January.
In the first of two meetings with the Red Devils in the first month of 2026, Fridolina Rolfo had the first chance of the game with a powerful header from close range, but Anneke’s outstanding reaction save denied United the lead.
It would prove to be a vital stop as it was one of many Anneke made to keep a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw at Emirates Stadium.
