ACB clubs, gathered on Tuesday, August 19 at Extraordinary General Assembly in Madrid, have re -elected Antonio Martín as president of the Basketball Club Association until 2029.
The top leader of the association was appointed president of the ACB in July 2018 and will now face his Third mandate After being renewed in 2021.
Antonio Martín wanted to “thank the clubs in every way, for the support of the Executive throughout these years.”
“We are going to go for all so that the 18 clubs, despite their different natures, have reasons to be satisfied. We are not going to promise, rather we will commit to grow in all the projects and challenges we have ahead,” adds the president.
“We now face many challenges, such as increasing the visibility of the competition, continuing the growth in the generation of income or being increasingly attractive to the public,” explains Martín, for which “the support that clubs have shown to the project has shown is essential.”
