FX The pilot of a new job comedy entitled has approved Moverscreated and produced by Robert Ben Guarantee and Cathy Shim. Warranty was cooperator of the series Reno 911! Comedy Central, in which Shim also acted. The executive producers of that false documentary, Stacey Sher and Peter Principato, will also be executive producers of this pilot, along with Jonny Shipes (BMF: The Rise and Fall of A Hip-Hop Drug Empire).
Guarantee and Shim will also star in this project produced by 20th Television, together with Maz Jobrani (Friday, after Next), Darius Homayoun (Sex/Life), Tanael “TJ” Joachim, Manny Montana (Ironheart) and the WWE superstar Becky Lynch (Real name: Rebecca Quin).
Movers It is an improvised labor comedy that revolves around the erratic and codependent lives of a removable team.
Reno 911! It is a series of fake documentary comedy that parodies the forces of the order and premiered in Comedy Central in 2003. Guarantee cooked the series along with Thomas Lennon and Kerri Kenney-Silver.
The reception of the pilot episode will be key so that it really becomes a series. We will see what happens when it is released.
