It was reported that Becky Lynch proposed an idea for a fight in Wrestlemania 41, but never materialized.

According to Ross sapp from Fightful SelectWWE's creative team presented an idea for Wrestlemania to Lynch in January that would have seen her compete in a fight for several people on the biggest stage of all.

SAPP is not sure if it would have been a Triple Threat, Fatal 4 -way combat or teams, but it would not have been an individual fight.

The plans did not realize, and SAPP said that Lynch is not interested in a “lazy programming” and wants to be involved in “something inspired” when he finally returns.

After losing the World Women's Championship against Liv Morgan in May 2024, Lynch's contract with WWE expired on June 1, according to Fightful Select.

That officially turned The Man into a free agent, but in January it was reported that he had signed with WWE again with a new contract.

Sapp reported this week that Lynch is under contract with WWE and has been for “at least four or five” months, but has not been taken to televised events during that time.

There was a lot of speculation that Big Time Becks would be in Raw's debut episode in Netflix in January or as a surprise participant in the Royal Rumble Women in February, but his absence has continued.

Since much of the WrestleMania billboard 41 was probably already determined for months, involving Lynch may have been easier to say than to do.

By keeping her out, WWE has more options at your disposal, such as making it appear by surprise this weekend in Wrestlemania, or in the RAW episode after Wrestlemania, which is always conducive to returns and debuts.

The return of Lynch will be a massive moment for WWE given its popularity, so it is crucial for all the parties involved to ensure that it is done well to achieve maximum impact.
