The headers Mediterranean, Levante e Information (belonging to the Prensa Ibérica group) organize the VII edition of the Ecoforum of the Valencian Communitythe forum on the circular economy and the fight against climate change that will be held this year at Moll de Costa Eventos (Grau de Castelló) on October 15. The forum has the promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana, the Castelló City Council, Reciplasa, Statkraft, Nealis, Tetma (Simetry Group), Paprec and the Castelló Airport, and the collaboration of Prezero and PortCastelló.
Under the title Companies and institutions, at the forefront against climate change and its effectsthe forum will debate the public-private strategies promoted for the preservation of the environment with the aim of achieving a more sustainable, fair and environmentally friendly society.
Global strategies
It is a strategic forum designed to achieve the involvement of public institutions, companies, universities, social agents and citizens in the active policies that are developed to address global strategies aimed at preserving the planetthe promotion of lines of execution and investments in sustainability. Furthermore, this edition will take stock of the actions carried out by companies and institutions in recent years.
The day, which will start at 9:00 a.m., it will feature two of the most influential women in this field: Theresa Zabell and Isabel Moreno. The inauguration will be carried out by the director of Mediterranean, Angel Baezand the mayor of Castelló will intervene, Begoña Carrascoand the Minister of the Environment, Vicente Martínez Musamong other authorities.
The experts
Theresa Zabell (United Kingdom, 1965) is the only Spanish woman with two Olympic gold medals, in addition to having been chosen as the best sailor in the world by the International Sailing Federation in 1994. When she retired from competition, Zabell decided to commit herself to the sea and, in 1999, founded Ecomar with the objective of caring for the planet through sport.

For its part, Isabel Moreno (Madrid, 1992) is physicist, meteorologist and scientific communicator specialized in climate change. She has a degree in Physics and a master's degree in Meteorology and Geophysics. In addition, he has trained in environmental education, biodiversity and communication.
