After winning WWE's undisputed championship in Wrestlemania XL, little by little but surely, Cody Rhodes's friends began to become against him. Everyone wants a part of the cake, and The American Nightmare has become a lonely individual.

WWE analyst Sam Roberts feels that Rhodes could hug the dark side by aligning with The Rock. The two are scheduled to find themselves in Elimination Chamber: Toronto on March 1.

While Roberts pointed in the podcast Notsam Wrestling That Cody does not need to do it immediately, it could happen in the final moments of Wrestlemania this year. The Final Boss told Rhodes that he wants his soul on SmackDown last Friday. The champion has time to contemplate it and could accept the offer this Saturday in Toronto, Canada.

“Wrestlemania 30 and 40 are probably the two happiest finals of Wrestlemania ever seen. What if Wrestlemania 41 has a sad ending? What if in WrestleMania 41 Cody Rhodes sells her soul?” Sam Roberts said. “Have all fans been supporting Cody Rhodes so strongly to tell this new story (as they did before)? Would you argue that fans have not done so (…) Maybe you need to go with the person who will keep him in power,” the analyst supported his statement. (From 33:10 onwards)

If Cody refuses, Sam Roberts feels that The Rock could enter the combat of the men's elimination and secure his ticket to Wrestlemania 41.

The Rock says that his story with the undisputed champion of WWE Cody Rhodes might not culminate in a fight

After its promotion segment with Cody Rhodes on SmackDown last Friday, The People's Champion joined the press to discuss the company's address. He touched the theme of his current program with The American Nightmare.

The Great One pointed out that The Final Boss and The American Nightmare are two characters so complex that their problems do not necessarily have to culminate in a wrestling fight. Many wondered if this was a subtle track of the 52 -year -old man who is not available for The Show of Shows this year.

An important project outside of WWE is supposedly in process. In him, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will collaborate with Martin Scorsese, Leonardo DiCaprio and Emily Blunt.
