The WWE recorded the episode next week by RAW last Monday in Boston. This included the preliminary fighting of Main Event and Speed. Among the clashes prior to the show, Wes Lee defeated Dion Lennox. However, according to PWInsiderthe former NiT American champion suffered an injury during combat.
It was reported that Lee suffered a foot or ankle injury, but still could finish the fight. It was expected to be evaluated by WWE doctors, but there are no additional updates about their condition.
#2 The truth about whether the Knight is injured
While Wes Lee was injured, another similar rumor has been denied. It was thought that the Knight was injured, after it was allegedly withdrawn from a meeting and greeting in Tampa on December 27.
The official X/Twitter account of Luekens Wine & Spirits published a tweet about this, stating that The Megastar was injured and that Braun Strowman would replace it. However, that is not true. According to Fightful SelectWWE denied rumors. Knight is not injured and his participation in that event had never been approved.
The tweet has been eliminated since then.
#3 Cody Rhodes replaced by Kevin Owens
Cody Rhodes is currently out of action after Kevin Owens hit him with a Piledriver package after his fight at the Saturday Night's Main Event event. The American Nightmare was hospitalized and, as a result, is no longer announced for the next Christmas tour. Your replacement? Of course, Kevin Owens!
The Prizefighter announced the news on X/Twitter, referring to itself as the new WWE champion, apparently confirming that it will keep the title Winged Eagle that stole in the event on Saturday night.
#4 Change of title in NXT recordings (spoiler)
The episode of the next week of Nxt will not be live. Transmitted on Christmas Eve, the show was recorded last night after this week's episode. The most prominent moment of the recordings could have been Lexis King surprisingly winning the cup cup of Charlie Dempsey.
According to several online reports, William Don hit the ex -star of AEW with steel knuckles, causing him to win the cup for disqualification. The wrestling legend remains on opposite sides with his son, who would be outraged by the events that occurred in the recordings.
