Only Sikoa has been looking for a rematch for the undisputed championship of the Cody Rhodes WWE since its failed attempt, despite Bloodline's rules, in Summerslam. Tonight, in the last “WWE SmackDown” in Fox, General Manager Nick Aldis granted that desire with an important stipulation in the form of a steel cage.
Rhodes began “SmackDown” recognizing the formidable multitude of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and exchanging compliant with the attendees. However, before he could advance too much in his narrative, “The American Nightmare” also acknowledged that at any time he hoped to be interrupted and, therefore, continued and extended an invitation to The Bloodline to join him in the ring.

At that time, there was a fight, with The Street Profits and Diy arriving at the ring before Aldis interrupted, making official a fight for the debut in “SmackDown” in the USA between Rhodes and Sikoa in a steel cage for the indisputable WWE championship.

Apart from the fight for the title in Summerslam, Rhodes also beat Sikoa in an individual competition in “RAW” in March 2023, and for disqualification in “SmackDown” in June this year.
