This Monday, athletes, coaches and leaders of the entire national, Olympic and Paralympic sports system, concentrated on the Plaza de Bolívar to claim Gustavo Petro's government for the reduction of almost 70% of their budget by 2026, provided for in the new Financing Law. The protest was attended by Olympic medalists such as Jeison López, Carlos Ramírez or Mari Leivis Sánchez; Paralympic medalists, such as Erica Castaño, Moisés Fuentes and Fabio Torres; Former sports, now leaders, such as Fabiola Zuluaga and Javier Suárez, and high command of Colombian sport as the president of the National Olympic Committee, Ciro Solano.
