Ivar shared a sad update before Wwe SmackDown's tonight. The veteran currently forms a couple team with Erik in Raw, known as the War Raiders.
The 41 -year -old fighter turned to Instagram today to share that his cat, Juvi, died sadly after 19 years. He pointed out that he was happy that he was no longer suffering, but I would miss her deeply. You can see your heartbreaking message below.
“Juvi, 19 years old were not enough. I can barely remember what life was like before you. I will never meet a more perfect kitten. I am happy that you are no longer suffering, but I miss you deeply, I love you, you, Tud,” he wrote.
The New Day captured the world championships in the War Raiders couples in Wrestlemania 41 last month in Las Vegas, Nevada. Erik and Ivar lost to The Creed Brothers this last Monday night in Raw after the reigning champions interfere in combat.
The War Raiders would have wanted to work with a WWE released star
The War Raiders recently revealed that they would have liked to have the opportunity to work with Paul Ellering. The legendary manager was fired along with The Authors of Pain earlier this year after spending time at The Final Testament, next to Karrion Kross and Scarlett.
In an exclusive interview with Bill Apter the former champions declared that they would have enjoyed working with Ellering if they had given them the opportunity. Ivar pointed out that the 71 -year -old man was already associated with The Authors of Pain when they signed with the promotion:
“I was (in WWE when the War Raiders joined), but I was with AOP when we arrived, so they were already together. That's why (an alliance never happened). That would have been really great. It would have been really great, yes.” (From 02:21 – 02:44)
Erik and Ivar both lost a substantial amount of time last year due to injuries. Only time will tell what the future holds the War Raiders after their defeat at WWE Wrestlemania 41.
