“I always remember the advice that Cristiano Ronaldo gave me. He always told me that scoring a goal was very easy, but I never believed it. But then I thought about it and gave me peace of mind during the game. All his experience influenced me a lot.

“Football has given me the peace of mind to be able to do things in my way. I did not have so much money, nor my parents, and now I can help many people to have a better education and a better school. My little brothers have the peace of mind of being able to choose and have more opportunities,” he said about the foundation that bears his name and helps children in Rio de Janeiro at risk of social exclusion.
