In a fight full of intensity, traps and emotions, Dominik Mysterio managed to successfully defend the Intercontinental Championship ante AJ Styles. Beyond the result, which marked the meeting were the multiple references to Eddie Guerrerowrestling icon and inspiration of the young champion.

The cunning ended up favoring Dominik. After distracting the referee, knocked out Styles with a bootwhich was removed during combat, as happened in Kurt Angle with Eddie several years ago. Domin attacked his rival with the footwear and finished it with another Frog Splash, achieving the count of three.
