Speaking in the podcast Straight Talk with The BossWrestling veteran praised Dirty Dom's work in 2024, noting that the Latin cheater had left the shadow of his father, a member of the Hall of Fame.
“For me, Dominik Mysterio has raised his game, continuously, inside and outside the ring. He has made the rivalry, you know, with the theme of women it is much more relevant. He came out of his father's shadow and settled on his own path as a dominant heel, possibly the most hated of the entire company,” he said.
Meanwhile, the 65 -year -old veteran predicted that The Judgment Day member eventually became a world champion. Added:
“So, for me, seeing it in the ring a couple of weeks ago with Gunther and seeing that he was not only intimidated, but also raised the level, it was impressive. He had an attitude throughout the fight that reminded me of Eddie (Guerrero). That boy, without a doubt, will be a future world champion.” (30: 27-31: 40)
Dominik Mysterio wants to win the WWE championship
In July 2011, Dominik Mysterio's father, Rey Mysterio, won the WWE championship in a RAW edition. However, he lost the title against John Cena before he finished that same night.
In an interview with ESPNDirty Dom expressed his desire to win the same championship to overcome his father's record.
“I think it's something quite special because my 'irresponsible father' ended up holding the world title twice. Then he won the WWE championship only once during, I think, maybe 30 minutes, and then dinner returned and took it off. So I think I would love to overcome its 30 -minute record as WWE champion.
