D-Von Dudley was honest on having been a victim of racist abuse by a WWE star. Dudley was recently invited to the YouTube channel of Maven, where the duo recalled the most racist moments of the WWE.

“I met my own racism in WWE, I hate to say it, but I did it with certain people who were in the office and who had a higher position. It was never Vince, it was never John laurinaitis, it was never Michael Hayes, but there were people during that time, during the attitude it was, that they basically said that they did not like them because it was black,” he said.

Maven was stunned with Dudley's revelation. The WWE Hall of Hall of Fame promised not to appoint the racist person, but said that the person in question is someone that wrestling fans would know.

“He told me on my face a couple of times,” he added. “The person said he didn't like it because he was black, and he told Bubba (Ray Dudley), you know, he started saying: 'Bubba, you are a good guy. I like you, I like you a lot. But, d-von, I don't know'. I remember that I closed my fist and Bubba felt it and saw and grabbed me. ”

Dudley said the incident occurred just after he and Bubba Ray Dudley joined the WWE in 1999, and recalled that it happened at the inauguration of the WWE restaurant. The legend in pairs remembered being angry but calmed down. He narrated another incident when the aforementioned person recognized the others at the table in the catering, which included Bubba Ray, Paul Heyman, Spike Dudley and Tommy Dreamer, but did not recognize D-Von. Heyman questioned the racist person if he did not greeted D-Von because he is black, what the racist admitted with pleasure.

The racist person spoke with D-Von at a later time and denied that he hated the member of the WWE Hall of Fame, but after D-Von told him about the various instances in which he had been racist with him, he moved away. Dudley had previously revealed that the racist person was not Michael Hayes or JBL.
