NXT has a new American champion.
The episode of May 27 by WWE NXT began with an exciting fight for the title when Ricky Saints put his American NXT title against Ethan Page this week.
It was an impressive fight, and Page had a lot to demonstrate, since I wanted to be champion in NXT. The combat began quickly, and there was additional security around the ring, in case things got out of control. The two began to fight from the beginning, so there was no time for a formal introduction of great fight by Mike Rome.
Ava went down to the ring and made it clear that there should be a winner in this fight. That did not make him a fight without disqualification, but the referee had a lot of discretion.
The fight continued during a commercial cut, and the two ended up fighting on the commentators' table. The referee told them to return to the ring, but then Ethan Page applied an RKO on a ringside steel chair, collapsing Ricky's throat.
Although Ethan Page had the advantage, Ricky Saints did not give up at all. He fought back while fans supported him. The two exchanged blows to the head and then Ricky received a Superkick, but then reversed a page movement in a DDT. Then Ricky recovered a little while fighting to get the account, but it didn't work.
Ethan Page hit another blow to Ricky Saints' throat, but Ricky managed to escape. Then Page used the upper rope to hit Ricky Saints. This was followed by Page applying its final movement to win the American fight and championship.
We will have to see what Ethan Page does next. This was a brutal and very disputed victory, and now he is the American champion when everything is said and done.
