When leaving WWE in 2016 and before founding AEW in 2019, Cody Rhodes was an independent fighter who traveled around the worldincluding AAA, TNA, Roh or NJPW. Outside the largest companies, he fought in NWA, PWG, WXW, Defy, Hog … did not leave stone without lifting.

We remember that occasion – in addition to how interesting it is always to look at the past as great as this – because the own own Daniels talks about Cody's coronation in his recent interview with Chris van Vliet in Insight and count insights of how the decision was made on the part of Ring of Honor:
“Yes, it was fun. It was very fun to work with Cody. And I remember that, I think that both Hunter (delirious) and me, at the same time, we decided that Cody should be the one. I said: 'I feel that you would appreciate that idea.' So, we put together everything, and it came out excellent. It was really fun to work with Cody. I had a great time. “
