Welcome to the latest edition of the WWE news summary of Prwrestling, where we bring them the most important stories in the wrestling world of today. Today, we have great updates about Randy Orton and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

A WWE legend has confirmed that it will never fight again, while there have been external rumors that Brock Lesnar will return to win the Royal Rumble Male. So let's enter directly in today's stories:

#4. Brock Lesnar could return and win the Royal Rumble Male, says Bully Ray

The state of Brock Lesnar in WWE is still uncertain, since it has not yet been approved by the company's legal team. However, that has not prevented people from speculating about the possible return of The Beast Incarnate.

In a recent Pódcast episode Busted Openthe member of the WWE Hall of Fame, Bully Ray, talked about the possibility of Lesnar returning at the Royal Rumble. He believes that the former UFC driver is the perfect opponent for Gunther if The General Ring loses the World Heavyweight Championship. Ray also declared that there is a “great possibility” that Brock Lesnar win the male rumble and challenges The General Ring in Wrestlemania 41.

“I'm going to leave Gunther out for a second. What would you do with Gunther on that stage? The only fight in which I would like to see Gunther involved if he is taken from the image of the world championship is against Brock Lesnar,” said Bully Ray. “(Do they make the movement and, perhaps, Brock Lesnar enters this year's Royal Royal? Brock Lesnar enters, wins the Royal Rumble and faces Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship in Wrestlemania). Great possibility!” He added.

Of course, Lesnar's return to WWE is far from safe. It remains to be seen if you will be allowed to return.

#3. Kurt Angle confirms that he is retired

The WWE Hall of Fame, Kurt Angle, withdrew from the ring in 2019, and despite the orders to return, the Olympic gold medalist has repeatedly declared that he will not fight again.

Angle reiterated this recently during an appearance in INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet. They asked about the possibility of facing John Cena again, but discarded immediately. Kurt Angle then confirmed that he can no longer fight.

“No, I can't fight anymore,” said Angle.

Angle still fights health problems due to his time as a fighter, having injured his neck several times during his career.

#2. Possible plans for Randy Orton's return to WWE

Randy Orton has been out of the WWE television since the beginning of November, when Kevin Owens eliminated him with a PiledRiver package. While it is not confirmed, Royal Rumble of 2025 seems to be a probable destination for the return of The Viper. In a recent live question and answers session in Backstage Pass, Wrestlevotes approached if Orton would appear in the rumble. He said that the 14 times world champion will probably interfere at Ladder Match for the WWE undisputed championship between Owens and Cody Rhodes.

“I don't know if both, but I would certainly say that with the way in which the issue of injury was developed, he (Orton) has to go back to Kevin Owens. He can't simply enter the rumble as a surprise and forget everything. Then, he would say that if he is in Indianapolis for the PPV (PLE), they will probably look for him during that Ladder Match.”

As a result of his possible participation in the program, a surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble Match Men's does not seem to be in the letters for Randy Orton.

#1. Stone Cold Steve Austin undergoes a total knee replacement

Stone Cold Steve Austin has published an important update, as it recently underwent total knee replacement surgery. The member of the WWE Hall of Fame turned to Instagram to announce that surgery was done seven weeks before confirming that his recovery is going well.

“I've been 7 weeks after the total knee replacement operation. My left knee was in his last and I have been postponing this surgery for years,” he wrote.

The Texas rattle snake also declared that the total knee replacement is a one -year healing process, but that it is back in the gym and training. While another fight is out of discussion, it is still about to be seen when Austin will appear in the WWE again.
