WWE fighters sometimes return to the company several years after retiring. A decade after his last fight, Layla recently approached if he could return to the ring.

Layla worked for WWE between 2006 and 2015 after winning the Diva Search contest. The 47 -year -old woman won the women's championship in 2010 before capturing the Divas Championship in 2012. She is also known for her association in the Laycool team with Michelle McCool.

In an interview in Developmentally SpeakingLayla confirmed that he would like to share the ring with McCool again one day:

“I really want to make a Laycool meeting, really. I said that I didn't want to do anything (after retiring). It was like, Oh, never again, 'but now I am like, yes, maybe I do. If it is there and the option is available, why not? I think the fans would want to see it, so why not?” (29:46 – 30:06)

McCool will be include to the Hall of Fame on April 18. Layla did not reveal whether she plans to attend the ceremony.

Layla discards a full time return to WWE

Lita, Torrie Wilson, Trish Stratus and several other fighters have returned as part of Royal Rumble women's fighting in recent years.

While Layla would be prepared to compete in the fight of 30 women, he has no plans to fight a complete calendar again:

“I am too old for that. No, no. If something happens with WWE, for me, Laycool. (30:44 – 31:13)

Layla's last fight in WWE ended up defeat against Paige in a live event on July 26, 2015. He has not fought for any other promotion since the company left.
