The former WWE main writer, Vince Russo, recently spoke about Bill Goldberg . The latter recently made some shocking comments about AEW and Tony Khan.
During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, veteran fighter attacked All Elite president Tony Khan. He made it clear that he was never close to signing a contract with AEW, describing him as “too cheesy” for his taste. He even said that Tony was a Male Dixie Carter, former president of TNA Wrestling.
In a recent episode of The Wrestling Outlaws Vince Russo questioned how Goldberg could even make a comparison. He pointed out that the WCW veteran never worked for any of the promoters, so he did not know how they worked.
“It seems really strange because the reality of the situation is that Bill Goldberg did not work for either of the two,” Russo added. “Once again, Billdberg did not work for either of the two people. So I don't know how he has all this knowledge to make the comparison when he did not work for any of them.”
During the same conversation, Russo came out in support of his former boss. He mentioned that she was incredible and too good to be in a business as ruthless as wrestling.
“Listen, man, when it comes to Dixie, I will defend her by cape and sword. I was in a mess that surpassed her. He had no idea what he was getting into. It was too much, too good, too good to be in a business like that.”
