There is a moment in the life of all WWE superstar in which they have to get away from the business forever. The former worldwide weight champion Kurt Angle made that decision almost six years ago and has supported his position to this day.

Kurt Angle has not put his boots since he retired against Baron Corbin in Wrestlemania 35. He has said on several occasions that he wanted to finish his career at the ring against John Cena. With the Cenation leader starting his farewell tour at the WWE Rumble Rumble this year, many fans wonder if the Olympic gold medalist would leave his retirement to face his rival one last time.

Speaking in Story Time with Dutch MantellKurt Angle made it clear that he will not leave the retirement to be part of John Cena's farewell tour.

“I won't be in that, you know what? They ask me all the time. People always ask me, are you going to be on John Cena's tour? No,” said Angle.

Angle also reflected on his recent NFL commercial for CBS, in which he got back into the ring. He said he took almost a month to recover from the effects after combat.

“Listening, I just made a commercial for CBS where I fought in the ring against, he was a announcer, a sports commentator, Kyle Brandt… he decided to fight me because he represented the Ravens and I to the Steelers. So it was a great confrontation that week … and we ended up tieding in the fight. But when I made that fight, I was so sore the next day, and my back He took a full month for my back to return to his place. (51:02 – 52:14)

Will Kurt Angle return to WWE television?

Kurt Angle appeared for the last time on the WWE television during the RAW episode of January 23, 2023, where he was a special guest referee in a six -men relay fight.

Almost two years after its last appearance, the fighting machine said it has no interest in returning to the WWE television in any capacity.

“No. Do you know what, Dutch? I'm at a point in my life where I'm fine. I don't need to do that anymore. I don't need to try who was or add anything to my legacy. I had a pretty good race and I'm proud of it,” said Angle.

Angle was recently included in the Hall of International Fame of Professional Struggle. With his days of fighting behind him, he seems to be enjoying his life after retirement.
