Aew is a place that already feels at home for Ricochet, dijo a Sports Illustrated . Ricochet already knows a lot about the AEW squad. Although he has enjoyed in all the places where he has fought, traveling the world with some of the people who are now in AEW at the beginning of his career is the funniest thing Ricochet has done in professional wrestling.

“Honestly, the main reason (for which he signed with AEW) is that I have been doing this, 21 years this year. And for me, the moment I had more fun in my career was when I was traveling around the world with those crazy lunatics there,” Ricochet said.

“It is literally the moment in which I was having a good time. Despite what people can think, it has not always been bad for Ricochet. I have fun my whole career, no matter where it was. I have always fun. That will not change. But when I was most important it was when I was with these boys and traveling around the world with them and having fighting with them and creating the art that I really like to do, because Ricochet that they have been, you know, I suppose that simply losing the opportunity to shine.

Ricochet said he felt that maybe he had stagnated at WWE in recent years. Joining Aew was a great decision, but I knew it was correct for him.

“It was definitely an important decision, but honestly, yes and no. Obviously, it was difficult because it is a place where I have been for the past six years,” Ricochet said. “I got very good connections, some friends and some good memories there. So it was definitely difficult. But at the same time, no, it was not, because I am a person who has always changed. I have always done things, so that is something I hoped eagerly.

“I saw what AEW was doing. I saw the boys and girls there and what they were doing, and I thought it was very fun. One wants to be part of that. Now that I can be part of that and I hope to help him advance towards the next generation, it will be incredible. So, so difficult to be the decision, I knew it was the right decision.”

Sign with AEW gives Ricochet the opportunity to renew his rivalry in the ring with Will Ospreay. Ricochet told Sports Illustrated that he also has pending issues with PAC. In Dynamite this week, Pac attacked Ospreay with a poisonous frog and then warned Ricochet to leave at the end of the row like everyone else.
