Mandy Rose was slowly ascending in WWE before the company took away the support, supposedly due to its decision to continue publishing exclusive content. One of Rose's most prominent stories in the main roster was against Sonya Deville.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Sonya Deville revealed that Mandy Rose was not very happy with the decision of the headquarters in Stamford to give Deville victory in her final rivalry fight 'The loser leaves Wwe' in Summerslam.
In The Ariel Helwani ShowSonya said that the company initially wanted a fight 'hair vs. Hair'. But Deville had had an incident with a stalker at home, which traumatized her, and Vince McMahon and company decided to address the story differently. The 31 -year -old said she had to talk to the former WWE president and a team of writers and producers about continuing with the fight, since they considered canceling it:
“I didn't realize that they were in the middle of the meeting. There are 30-40 writers and producers, Vince (McMahon), all. I opened the door a little. (…) I didn't know that I was going to say it in front of the entire production meeting, I expected to speak only with the main writer or with Vince to Solas. I ended up giving everyone a speech,” Sonya Deville said.
She and Mandy Rose then devised the stipulation that the loser left the city. But Rose was unhappy with WWE's initial decision to reserve Deville as the winner, since she was the babyface in history:
“Mandy was somewhat annoying because he said, 'I'm the babyface here and you have been beating me all the time.' I understood his point, and in fact we went and got them to change the end for me to lose. (From 24:21 onwards)
Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose talk about a possible return to WWE in the future
While talking with Ariel Helwani, Sonya Deville also talked about her future in the wrestling business. Deville feels that what he does must come from inside. He expressed interest in continuing as a professional fighter or returning to his career in MMA.
Meanwhile, Mandy Rose doesn't need to return to WWE after her controversial departure. However, Rose's condition would like to explore another layer of her character, since the former leader of the Atxication toxic faction will have evolved in recent years.
