Asuka recently contacted the police after a fan's behavior made her feel “in danger.” EC3, a WWE star between 2009-2013 and 2018-2020, believes that fans must take into account the fighters feelings before approaching them.
On January 29, Asuka wrote in X (previously Twitter) that fans should not develop romantic feelings for her. Due to a recent situation, the former WWE female champion added that he would “scare her” if someone tried to talk to her at an airport.
EC3 appeared in the “The Wrestling Outlaws” program with host Dr. Chris Featherstone and former WWE Vince Russo He said that fans should adopt the same approach he had as a child when he met a famous baseball player:
“When I was growing, big baseball fan, and I saw a player, my father said, 'Don't approach him as he eats. He will take a photo with you later,' and then I did it and he did it. He shows that respect for people and not invades his space so much, but it is difficult to calm the immediate enthusiasm, so really is a case -by -case case.” (6:53 – 7:14)

EC3 about the problem with Asuka's situation
Although the details are still limited, Asuka wrote in another post that WWE and Tko are taking measures to protect her.
EC3 has sympathy for the Empress of Tomorrow, but also recognizes that fans could not know when to approach their favorite fighters:
“There is a correct place and time, and people have lives, whether celebrities or not, or are dealing with something emotional, mental, physical sometimes. You don't know what their mood will be and then your approach to them will dictate how they react, and you can never plan that.” (6:20 – 6:39)
In the same episode, EC3 described the situation as “horrible” and revealed good opinions about Asuka as a person when he worked for WWE.
