Dolph Ziggler has constantly elevated other talents through his selfless actions and his willingness to lose against younger stars of the WWE, which contributed to his promotion in the company. The former WWE Aiden English (now Matthew Rehaoldt) star has compared this quality of The Showoff with Shinsuke Nakamura, 44.
The King of the Style returned to television in the episode of November 15 by Smackdown. The 44 -year -old fighter interrupted the Knight celebration after the United States title against Berto successfully defended. Nakamura attacked the champion with a Kinshasa, which marked his return to the blue brand after a pause since April 2024.
In the podcast REBOOKED WrestlingMatthew Rehwoldt mentioned that Shinsuke Nakamura is being used as a springboard for other fighters, similar to how Dolph Ziggler was used when he was in WWE.
“He is (Shinsuke Nakamura) the new Dolph Ziggler. He is man; they (wwe) say, 'hey, he can have a great fight with almost anyone, but he will always be defeated,' and it's like the springboard to see if someone can be in the main event or whatever it is,” he said.
The former 37 -year -old star expects the company to change this trend in the hiring of Nakamura. Aiden English wants The Wayward Samurai to finally get rid of this pattern after his return at Friday Night SmackDown.
“It seemed that they had had many fights in recent years, in which they said: 'Oh, this will be good, it's fine, then we will beat Shinsuke and so on.' So I hope we may have overcome that stage,” he added. (From 17:01 to 17:25)
WWE legend believes that the Knight has become opaque, but Shinsuke Nakamura can change that
Booker T recently shared that the stellar power of the Knight has decreased. The 59 -year -old legend sees Shinsuke Nakamura as the perfect opponent to rekindle the passion of The Megastar and raise his performance.
Speaking in his podcast, Booker T declared that he is a great admirer of the enigmatic style of The Artist and believes that the Japanese fighter is the ideal counterpoint for the blade personality of the Knight.
“The Knight needs something that enlivens its flame again. It seems that it has turned off a little. It seems that this star has turned off a little. So I think Shinsuke Nakamura will definitely be the right person. I love Shinsuke. I love everything about him. It's that silent murderer, that murderer, that ninja,” said Booker T.
Only time will say if the WWE has made significant changes in Shinsuke Nakamura programming before its program with the United States champion on SmackDown television.
