Dutch Tenclo's family has created a GOFUNME ACCOUNT For the legendary fighter, who is dealing with a recent health crisis. The family is trying to raise $ 100,000 to help you with your medical expenses. This is the description of fundraising:
“Hello Wrestling Family. With great regret, I ask for help for Dirty Dutchman and his family. Unfortunately, they are in a critical situation with their health and also face financial problems. The objective amount of this donation is there because a number had to be entered. Any donation is appreciated. The costs will be very high for the family.
5 years ago, Dutch and his wife Cathy moved to Florida with their daughter Amanda. Amanda wanted to have them closer to her, since she was fully aware that they were growing and beginning to need help with some things. Everything was going well until about a year ago, but things deteriorated very quickly with Dutch and Cathy.
Many of you know that Dutch has faced multiple medical emergencies during the last year. He has overcome sepsis twice and almost dies both times. He is currently at home recovering after a one -month stay at the hospital on the last occasion. Recently he began to make podcasts, which is great for him, but that is all he can do at this time. The podcast is really good for him, since he really loves to interact with fans and passionate to share wrestling stories with all of you.
His wife Cathy has also had a very hard year. They have been married 51 years and have barely been seen during all this time. She has been hospitalized 11 times since May, spending most of that hospitalized time. He has lost 70 pounds and is very weak. Earlier this week he underwent an emergency intestinal resection surgery and told him that, although it was an extremely high risk due to how sick he was, without her he would die. He faces a long and slow recovery of this. Due to the multiple hospitalizations, he has exhausted the days covered by his insurance. This is an immense financial and emotional burden for the family.
Many of you know Dutch's daughter, Amanda. Amanda is a very motivated and successful career woman, however, when this happened with Dutch and Cathy, she immediately assumed the role of exclusive caregiver of both. They are not well medically well to leave them alone at home or take care of themselves at this time. She has been her defender in hospitals and without her it is sure to say that Dutch or Cathy would not be with us today. The hospital hardly diagnosed sepsis to Dutch and she fought with them to take it seriously and almost died as a result. She has taken the FMLA of work (she also faces her own health problems that she does not want to share at this time) and exhausted all her own savings to pay the invoices. This means that there is nothing of savings or insurance to cover the additional time that Cathy needs in the rehabilitation center once it is well enough to be transferred, any relief care, in addition to the regular invoices that must be kept up to date. Amanda has worked very hard to keep things going. When all this began, I had saved more than a year of money for emergency “invoices”, but it had almost been exhausted. The emergency arrived and hit it twice.
If you can help this family, do it. If you can't, it's fine too.
It is difficult for everyone at this time. Please share this publication. Those who know Amanda know that she would.
This is a very united small family and there is no other close family that can help, so all the burden falls on it. To be fair, Amanda would not want anyone to take care of them anyway. I could never have imagined that the health of both would make it so drastically worse, so fast and that they would be both at the same time. She is cleaning, preparing her meals, helping them to literally do everything, running between the house and the hospital (or nursing center), managing all the invoices of the house, managing all their medications and making everything work. He even spent countless nights at the hospital sleeping in a chair making sure they were comfortable and had what they needed.
Dutch has spent more than 50 years entertaining us, keeping us on the edge of our seats with their stories, making us laugh and sharing his vast knowledge of the wrestling industry with all of us. Although it was intelligent with his money, a medical crisis can end the best plans. Any donation will be sent directly to Amanda to help with medical expenses and daily invoices during this period. She takes care of all appointments with the doctor and the financial aspects of that. All donations will go to the recovery of Dutch and Miss Cathy. We have created this Go Fund Me account for the family. Thank you very much for your support. ”
