John Cena returned to WWE earlier this year to start his farewell tour. A WWE analyst recently predicted that the Cenation leader would have a real tension with an elite superstar in the coming months.
After not winning the Royal Rumble, Cena enrolled for the elimination Chamber during the press conference after the event. The 16 times world champion said that his long service to the company had won the right to mark his own way. Meanwhile, he said that WrestleMania 41 leads and winning its 17th world title would be the best for the business. Unlike the 47 -year -old man, five other elite superstars, including CM Punk, had to win their places in the elimination chamber through qualifying fighting.
Punk pointed out that Cena had the privilege of simply announcing his participation in the elimination Chamber during a RAW promo. However, he said he had no problem with that. In his podcast Notsam WrestlingRoberts said that The Second City Saint does have a problem with the preferential treatment that Cena received despite denying him, remembering the complaints of the 46 -year -old man about the same thing almost 15 years ago:
“After all these years, after everything that CM Punk has achieved, after returning to WWE, after proveing that everyone was wrong and showing that not only can it be someone who plays as a team, but also can execute some of the best fighting of the year, that you still have to deal with the fact that John Cena receives preferential treatment. There is no way that this character of cm punk can sit and say that I do not have a problem. You have it. Because you told us before you had it and I don't think that has ever changed, ”he said.
The 41 -year -old analyst predicted that there would be a real tension between the two superstars, which would be shown when they face the combat of the elimination Chamber. He also suggested that they could have a rivalry where Punk becomes heel:
“It is the levels of favoritism that are increasing and increasing and increasing. But I think there is a real dilemma occurring. I think there will be a real tension between cm punk and John dinner and we will see some of that inside the camera. We are going to see them put their hands on each other. WWE analyst think that John Cena will win the elimination chamber
CM Punk has been a member about his desire to head Wrestlemania for the first time in his career in WWE. He would win that opportunity if he wins the Elimination Chamber fight. However, Sam Roberts predicted that the 46 -year -old fighter would not emerge victorious in Toronto.
In his podcast Notsam WrestlingWWE analyst revealed that he believes that John Cena will be the one who wins the elimination chamber and challenges Cody Rhodes in Wrestlemania:
“If you look at the panorama of where the elimination chamber is going at this time, I still feel that, for me, today, I record this, John Cena makes more sense to win that fight of the elimination chamber. I think you are looking at a fight of Cody Rhodes (vs.) John Cena in Wrestlemania,” he said.
It will be interesting to see if punk and dinner cross again after elimination chamber.
