Gunther has been a dominant world heavyweight champion since he captured the title at WWE Summerslam. However, the company's wrestling analyst based in Stamford, Sam Roberts, recently said that The General Ring could lose the title before Wrestlemania 41.
The 37 -year -old fighter recently exceeded 162 days as a world heavyweight champion. He defended the title for the last time at the main event of last Saturday, where he defeated Finn Balor and Damian Priest in a triple threat fight. In recent months, many have been predicting possible opponents for The General Ring in Wrestlemania 41, including former United States champion, Logan Paul.
In his podcast Notsam WrestlingRoberts addressed the possibility that The Maverick faces Gunher in The Show of Shows. He said he would like the fight to occur only if The General Ring lost its title before Wrestlemania 41, something that considered quite plausible.
“I don't know if I like Gunther's idea against Logan Paul for the championship. If Gunther loses the championship before Wrestlemania, which is absolutely feasible, then I think Gunther against Logan Paul would be incredible. Gunter against Logan Paul for the World Heavyweight Championship? No, thanks on paper. Tell me the story and I'm sure I will convince me,” he said. (1:12:08 – 1:12:26)

A wwe legend could dethrone Gunher, says Peter Rosenberg
In his podcast Cheap HeatWWE Analyst Peter Rosenberg suggested a scenario in which Gunther would lose his world heavyweight championship against a John Cena who returns. The Cenation leader recently announced that he will compete in the Royal Rumble Male for an opportunity for a world title.
Former champion 24/7 suggested that contrary to the expected fight against Cody Rhodes, Cena could then lose the title against Jey use.
“I mean, it depends on whether dinner ends up going against Gunther, right? If dinner gets it from Gunther, I don't know, is there a world in which Jey could take it off to dinner?” Rosenberg said.
It will be interesting if Gunther can keep the World Heavyweight Championship until WWE Wrestlemania 41 and who could be his possible opponent on the most great stage of all, since some predict that his reign is reaching the final part.
