Gunther vs. Goldberg for the full weight title

In Raw's most recent edition, we saw how the legendary Goldberg made his expected and announced return to WWE. And he didn't waste time. He went straight to challenge Gunther to a fight for the World Full Weight Championship, in what could be the last fight.

WWE officially confirmed the fight for the WWE Saturday Night's Main Event program, which will be held next Saturday, July 12, 2025 from the State Pcipar Arena in Atlanta, Georgia and will be broadcast as a special NBC.

Gunther's music rang and he made his entrance to the ring. Gunther began recognizing that in Wrestlemania 41, Jey use was the best man in his fight for the World Weight Championship, but clarified that it was only true for one night.

Gunther then mentioned rumors about his future and said that Seth Rollins has the Money in the Bank briefcase, has made it clear That goes after the world championship and, therefore, goes after him.

Gunther declared that he was in the ring and called Rollins directly to come out. However, Goldberg's music rang and he appeared before the public's ovation. Goldberg told Gunther not to get confused, since that night was his night.

Goldberg explained that he was there to celebrate that Gunther is the world champion, but reminded him that he started something with him a few months ago in Atlanta, Georgia. Goldberg said he will end that matter in Atlanta, at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on July 12, and told Gunther: “You are the next.”

Gunther was surprised and left the ring quickly, while the public chanted the name of Goldberg. Goldberg then posed on the strings as a sign of challenge.
