According to reports, Drew McIntyre was frustrated with a companion partner after Royal Rumble 2025.
Pwinsider informs that Drew McIntyre was visibly annoying behind the scenes after his elimination, supposedly due to a participant who prioritized to show his own movements over the broader history of combat. The witnesses described McIntyre as “shouting and cursing” before leaving the sand fur before the show.
Veteran wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer later confirmed the reports at Wrestling Observer Radio through F4Wonline.com, stating that McIntyre was not alone in his frustration.
“There is a boy with whom many people were upset in that fight, believing that I was more focused on focusing themselves instead of improving combat in general,” said Meltzer.
Although the name of the individual has not yet been verified by multiple sources, Meltzer said that it will inevitably come to light. A source confirmed it and is waiting for a second, while others have already begun to speculate and point to Logan Paul.
“Several people have told me that Drew was really unhappy. This is not part of a story,” Metzer added. “And from what I have heard, he was not the only one frustrated by the situation.”
During combat, McIntyre was eliminated by Damian Priest while Logan Paul and the Knight were close. In the sequence, McIntyre tried to launch Jey use over the strings before colliding with Paul and Knight, which caused its elimination.
