A current WWE star shared some details about his previous hiatus that even led to rumors of a possible exit. That happened more than five years ago, so the star fans will finally get clarity about what really happened.

There were rumors in 2019 that Katana Chance, who was still known as Kacy Catanzaro at that time, was looking to leave WWE. However, the speculation did not turn out to be true and the star was replaced as Katana Chance and was matched with Kayden Carter to form a successful label team.

Recently speaking in the podcast Ring The BelleChance was asked about the rumors of his possible exit at that time and what happened to him. She revealed that she had had a back injury, and during her recovery, there were doubts in her mind about wanting to continue a career in professional struggle.

“I am dealing with these injuries as, 'am I too small? Am I not big enough? Can I follow the rhythm of these people?' The doubt was starting to affect me, so I think that when I had that time it was for this injury, and I was thinking how, okay, when I returned, I think I could do this forever? ' I think people hastened to say, 'Oh, she won't come back.' “

She continued:

“It was like I wasn't ready to talk about it. I wasn't ready to say, 'Yes, I have this injury. I think I'll be back in a few months. I'm not sure.' I was taking my time not to let any of that affect me, and so it was difficult, but we returned, so I am happy. ” (10:06 – 10:37)

Since Katana Chance and Kayden Carter became a label team, they have won the NXT female couples championship and the WWE female couples championship.

Katana Chance makes an order to the wwe universe

In the same episode of the podcast Ring The BelleThey also asked Katana Chance why her team with Kayden Carter does not have an official name. Chance asked fans to send possible names for the team, explaining that they could not obtain the approval of any of their ideas by WWE.

“Everyone, send us their team names because we do this all the time. And we send, as, ideas of team names, and we simply have not had one that we like, that everyone likes,” said Chance. (16:17 – 16:26)

The team moved from RAW to SmackDown during the recent transfers window. They failed to win the Women's Gauntlet Match last Friday to win an opportunity for the title against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in Wrestlemania 41.
