The newspapers Mediterranean, Levant and Information (belonging to the group Iberian Press) organize the seventh edition of the Ecoforum of the Valencian Community, the forum of the circular economy and the fight against climate change which this year will be celebrated in Moll de Costa Eventos (Grau de Castellón) on October 15.
The forum has the promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana, the Castelló City Council, Reciplasa, Statkraft, Nealis, Tetma (Simetry Group), Paprec and the Castelló Airport, and the collaboration of Prezero and PortCastelló.
Under the title Companies and institutions, at the forefront against climate change and its effectsthe forum will debate the public-private strategies promoted for the preservation of the environment with the aim of achieving a more sustainable, fair and environmentally friendly society. In addition, a balance will be made of the actions of companies and institutions carried out in recent years.
For this, there will be two of the most influential women in this area: Theresa Zabell e Isabel Moreno.
Who is Theresa Zabell?
Theresa Zabell (United Kingdom, 1965) is the the only Spanish woman with two Olympic gold medalsin addition to having been chosen as the best sailor in the world by the International Sailing Federation in 1994. When she retired from competition, Zabell decided to commit herself to the sea and, In 1999, he founded Ecomar and begins to dedicate himself body and soul to her.

Who is Isabel Moreno?
For its part, Isabel Moreno (Madrid, 1992) is physics, meteorologist and scientific communicator specialized in climate change. She has a degree in Physics and a master's degree in Meteorology and Geophysics. In addition, he has continued his training through various courses on environmental education, biodiversity and communication.

The day, which It will start at 9:00 a.m., it will be inaugurated by the director of Mediterráneo, Ángel Báezand will be attended by the mayor of Castelló, Begoña Carrasco; the Minister of the Environment, Vicente Martínez Mus; the regional secretary of the Environment, Raul Merida; the general director of Tetma (Simetry Group), Ana Montes; the director of the eastern zone of the Paprec group, Jorge Tejedo; the Business Director of the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands of Prezero, Francisco Moro; and the general secretary of the Association of Companies and Energy Valorization of Urban Resources (Aeversu), Belén Vázquez de Quevedo.
